Learning
As teachers, we are always learning new methods on how to teach to each individual student and as a class. We learn different strategies to promote student learning, like demonstrating differentiation and incorporating multiple intelligence into our lessons. This will allow students to develop deep understanding of the content and form their own connections in the learning environment.
Classroom Management Plan
My Classroom Management Plan demonstrates the Leaner Development standard because the plan allowed me to explain the teacher and students roles as well as how learning will occur in the classroom. My plan encourages students to work cooperatively in a safe learning community.
Learner Development (INTASC: 1)
The teacher understands how learners grow and develop. reorganizing that patterns of learning and development vary individually within and across the cognitive, linguistic, social, emotional and physical, areas, and designs and implements developmentally appropriate and challenging experiences.

Reflection about Classroom Management Plan
The classroom management plan demonstrates the Learner Development standard (INTASC 1) because the plan allowed me to understand how the learner will grow and develop his/her understanding in my classroom. I describe how my class will be structured as a classroom community, which includes group work in the child center classroom. This will allow students take lead of their learning in the classroom and have the teacher to offer assistance when needed. I want the students take ownership for their learning so I allow them to create their class rules. By building a classroom community, the students will learn how to work together and learn each other’s perspective. Thus, this will allow them to develop individually based on their experiences and learning opportunities. The positive relationship between the teacher and students will encourage mutual respect and care between both parties. I discussed how I will use differentiated instruction and multiple intelligence into my lessons so I can teach to every student in my class. Each of my students will have their own learning style, so I must give them opportunities or choices to allow them to demonstrate their learning in order to fairly assess their understanding. Lastly, I described the student’s expectations for the classroom and the classroom procedures. This will provide students clear expectations for their classroom behavior and the consequences if they break the rules which they voted on. The classroom rules will teach them good behavior in the classroom as well as in the democratic society. Thus, the student will be accountable for his/her behavior and learning in the classroom while they experience the various learning opportunities throughout the semester.
Vertical Motion Model Lesson Plan with Multiple Intelligence
The following lesson plan demonstrates the Instructional Strategies standard because the lesson allows students to become engaged into the lesson by allowing them to choose how they want to demonstrate their understanding and knowledge about the content. The lesson is plan for students with various learning strategies and to allow students to apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
Instructional Strategies (INTASC: 8)
The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop deep understanding of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways.

Reflection on Vertical Motion Model Lesson Plan with Multiple Intelligence
The vertical motion lesson plan demonstrates the Instructional Strategies (INTASC 8) since the lesson incorporates multiple intelligence into the lesson. Multiple intelligence is a framework for delivering curriculum in which there is variety of ways to match how students learn. Thus, this increases the likelihood of matching learning styles with the students learning style. The vertical motion activity encourages students to have a choice in order to demonstrate their understanding of the content. This type of model (vertical motion) uses a variety of learning strategies in order for the students to develop a deeper understanding of the content. The students will be able to form connections with the vertical motion model and apply their knowledge in a meaningful way with their peers. This activity gives the students a learning opportunity to demonstrate evidence of learning beyond the text and worksheets and allows the students to become active learners in the classroom.
