Summary
Throughout my Teaching Assisting semester, I have learned and implemented multiple tools, strategies, methods, and theories to aid me in teaching in a Mathematics and Biology classroom. My classroom management plan will demonstrate instructional practices with samples, which created a learning environment for the students at Muskegon High School. The creation of the classroom social contract helped build the learning environment as well as state the roles of students and teachers in the classroom. My classroom management plan blended my personal education and classroom pedagogy as well as my experience from my Teacher Assisting field practicum from Muskegon High School and education coursework. I have implemented Faye’s Love and Logic and the Responsible Thinking Practice as my foundation for my classroom management.
